Ruth P. Silva, age 81, passed away February 3, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in Trinidad, Colorado on November 2, 1944, to Petra (Flores) and Domingo Castillo.

Ruth enjoyed riding horses, taking pictures, listening to her favorite music, and working outside in her yard. She especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Petra and Domingo Castillo, brothers Manuel, Ralph, Pete, Mike, Dominic, and Joe Castillo, sisters Francis Rivas and Aurelia Gutierrez.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Everly J. Sr.: daughter Kathy (Matthew) Bueno; son Everly J. Jr. grandchildren Reina and Alecia Bueno, sister; Virginia Nunez and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Active pallbearers are Everly J. Silva Jr., Matthew Bueno, Anthony Gutierrez, Christopher Gutierrez, John Gomez, and Sammy Castillo.

Family may be contacted at home address.
