Martha Inez Garcia

Martha Garcia entered this world on Aug. 29, 1939, and was peacefully called home
to the Lord on January 5, 2026, at the age of 86. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Leonarda Martinez; several
siblings; her in-laws, Jesus "Jay" Garcia and Carrie Garcia; her beloved husband,
John Garcia; son, Michael Garcia; and daughter, Roberta Hager (Michael). 

Martha leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: sister,
Jennie Duran; brother, Julian Martinez; son, Myron Garcia; daughters, Myra Garcia
(Manuel) and Judith L. Dene; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-
grandchildren who were a constant source of joy in her life. 

Martha was a devout Catholic whose faith guided her life and sustained her through both joy and hardship. She attended daily mass at St. Pius X Catholic Church and was a member of the rosary group. She was also an active member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society. She was a devoted football fan, proudly cheering for her beloved Centennial Bulldogs and faithfully supporting her favorite NFL team, the Denver Broncos. 

Known for her generous spirit and immense heart, Martha was a constant source of love and support for her family. Anyone in need could always count on her kindness, encouragement, and open arms. She welcomed family and friends alike with warmth and grace. A hard-working woman, Martha dedicated 28 years of service to Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, where she was respected for her commitment and strong work ethic until her well-earned retirement. In addition to her years at Parkview, she also cleaned houses professionally.
 
She was the heart of her family, and her absence leaves a space that can never be filled. Her memory will be cherished foreve by her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure for generations. 

A special thank you to the Brown family. 
Martha and Paul, you have been her neighbors for 42 years. 
You were her best friends and sports buddies. Thank you for all the wonderful years you helped share in her happiness.
