Elizabeth Francine Trammell

Elizabeth Francine Trammell, 58, of Trinidad, Colorado passed away suddenly and
unexpectedly at her home in Trinidad, Colorado on Friday, January 2, 2026.
Elizabeth was born on June 29, 1967, in Walsenburg, Colorado to John and Frances
(Fender) Trammell. Elizabeth attended Holy Trinity Catholic School and Trinidad
Catholic High School graduating in May 1985.
Elizabeth worked at Pizza Hut during high school and after graduation for a time.
Elizabeth was a very social and outgoing person who never met a stranger.
Elizabeth enjoyed working with the public and talking to people. A short time after
graduation Elizabeth went to work first for Dr. Arrington at Trinidad Animal Clinic
and continued working for Dr. Falduto after Dr. Arrington retired. Elizabeth had an
unwavering love and the utmost compassion for animals, often times, bringing
strays and abandoned animals into her home while trying to find a forever home for
them and if she couldn’t, she would keep them. Elizabeth worked at Trinidad
Animal Clinic for over 20 years and never hesitated to say that it was her favorite
place to work. Elizabeth had a couple other jobs in customer service
that she enjoyed as well. Elizabeth was employed at Hometown Pharmacy
at the time of her death.
Elizabeth
was a devoted mother, a loving daughter, and a loyal sister. Elizabeth
had many friends in the community and often talked affectionately about
each one. Elizabeth had a zest for life and an incredible sense of
humor, always trying to find laughter and a “silver lining”.
Elizabeth
is survived by her only child Ann Nall-Trammell, her Mother Frances
Trammell, her brother Anthony (Janet) Trammell, Nephew Justin
Trammell, her very special Significant Other Larry
Cobo and numerous cousins of the McManis and Milner families.
Elizabeth
is preceded in death by her Father John Trammell, Grandparents Albert
& Miriam Fender, John & Mary McCammon and John Trammell Sr.,
Grandson Ethan Trammell, Aunt Joan & Uncle Bob McManis, Aunt
Lois & Uncle Art Milner, cousins Artie Milner and Kevin Milner.
Funeral
Services have been entrusted to Comi Funeral Home. Visitation will be
held Monday, January 12, 2026, at Comi Chapel from 3–6pm with
the Rosary following at 6pm. Funeral Services will be held at St
Anthony’s Catholic Church, 125 S. Fir Street in Aguilar, Colorado on
Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 10:00 am, and concluding with graveside
services at Trinidad Catholic Cemetery in Trinidad, CO.
Pallbearers include Matt Salbato, Scott Sandlin, Richard Bonaquista, Wayne Leone, Les Roybal and Don Gonzales.
Honorary Pallbears include Anthony Trammell, Justin Trammell, Paul Maes, Jack McManis, Mike Milner, and Larry Cobo.
Elizabeth
was loved beyond measure and will be missed beyond words. There will
not be a day that passes without her in our hearts and in our
thoughts.
